Embracing Elias.

Today is embrace the camera day over at the Anderson Family’s Blog.  Although this is not ‘Me’ embracing the camera, I have to share it.  After a LONG day, Eli crashed on The Hubby and I mean crashed. At this point in Eli’s life, he will literally as we call it “fall asleep in motion”.  One second he’s jumping around screaming like a mad man and the next second he’s totally knocked out DEAD asleep.  This was one of those times.

Thanks Anderson Crew!  We’re really enjoying this adventure!

What a great picture! Hopefully, you had a few moments of peace and quiet. :)

Tommy’s journey is just begining.

Easter this year was extra special for our family. Tommy took a big step in his Faith and got baptized. He’s been wanting to do it for over a year, but he was still a little young so we made him wait. He is very spiritually mature at such a young age, he actually has a relationship with God, and is already asking really big questions about faith…

Tommy: “Mom, what’s the deal about free will? I mean is God is sovereign, right? Then that means he already knows everything we do and are going to do, so how in the world does free work, then?”

Me: “Uh, woah Tommy. That’s a really good question, lets ask Pastor J. I am not sure I fully understand it in it’s entirety either, or at lease not well enough to properly explain it to you.”

Here are a couple of pics from the baptism that the photog at church caught…I didn’t bring my to church that day because I didn’t know this was going to happen. It just felt right to Tommy and so he went for it!

Afterwards, I asked him how it made him feel.

Tommy: It made me feel awesome because I sacrificed myself to God completely.

PROUD, PROUD Mamma, here.

Cake Pops and Embracing

So…I had this idea that Cake Pops would make a really cute shot.  Well, it did aside from the fact that they all have CAKE on their faces.  Oh well.  I’m embracing it anyway!

Thanks Anderson Crew for including us!

Your kids are absolutely adorable!, wow!

Is it summer yet?

Not yet, but I am sure appreciating that our summer (oops) spring break fell this week where we are having near 90 degree temps.  I love that we live close enough to the beach that’s it’s only a little drive.  After growing up at the beach and spending all of my summers there, the first thing on my mind when it warms up, is to head to the beach!  I didn’t realize when I was little that one of the reasons we went to the beach all the time (aside from it’s beauty and healing properties) was because it was free!  And man, oh, man, having a large family going on outings can really add up.  This is perfect.

One night this week we are going to do a sunset picnic on the beach, can’t wait!
