I think that I’ve mentioned before that when Lucas was born, he was born a little old man. He really never was much of a baby he didn’t ever have that baby look and by the time he was 2 he acted 6. Now he’s finally six and he’s acting like he’s 15. He’s currently in love with Selena Gomez, knows at least 3 of her songs by heart and loves to dance to them. Not only does he love to dance to her (Selena’s) songs, he loves to dance to just about any music with a thumpin’ beat. The other night Ruben was out washing my car (blaring the music of course) and I walked into the garage to find Lucas grooving out with a traffic cone on his head. Dancing like he was all by himself. It was great.
Despite the fact that he often uses words he shouldn’t and that he’s easily set off (see prior post on our TV), there’s something so very special about him. He has an awesome personality, always able to make any one of us laugh and he’s just kinda a cool kid.
He knows how to get right at my heart, and does it often. Here’s his interview.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, NO my boys NEVER wear shirts when we are at home, not inside, not outside, not riding their bikes, scooters or skateboards. We like to live on the edge. If I’d let them they’d never wear them anywhere, but I make them wear them in public.
